What the right really wants -- in their own words
This is a Freeper thread everyone should read. Post a link on your Facebook page. It provides interesting insight into what the Tea-hadist types REALLY want.

Among other things, these "Constitutionalists" want to repeal two amendments to the Constitution.

Sample comments:

Use ALL the power of the Congress to investigate everyone and everything in the administration of the Kenyan Usurper -- starting with a subpoena demanding the birth records of Barry. That should start on DAY ONE!

-------

Reclassify abortion to a highly criminal offense!

-------

Get out of the UN; get UN out of U.S.
Abolish all non-profits and cease Gov't funding of any and all organizations

No un-funded mandates to the states

Abolish All cabinet orgs except for Defense, State, Treasury<

Abolish earmarks

Cut corporate taxes to flat 10% of revenue

Abolish Cap gains tax

Abolish Inheritance tax

All income is taxable; two rates 15% & 25%; rates 10 points apart permanently (for 25% to go up to 26% 10% would become 11%)

Term limits for elected officials and their staffs

Wind down medicare, SS, medicaid, etc over 20-25 years

Abolish 14th & 17th Amendments

NO lifetime judgeships

1. About that last item...
"NO lifetime judgeships"

I feel pretty confident that they would like to keep justices Roberts, Alito and Thomas as lifers.

3. They should go start their own fucking country...
...and quit trying to fuck up the one this one. Why are these nutbags always trying to TAKE THINGS AWAY from everyone? They're all about taking away rights, telling people how to run their lives. Authoritarian douchebags.

8. We're cool with that in Texas.
Just say the word and we'll seal the borders and go back to 1835.

Making Texas a Republic again is always a favorite topic in the Austin coffee shops, on both the Left and the Right sides of the cafe.

4. What's interesting is that this stuff is coming from
the "brainy" types in the conservative movement. One shudders when one ponders the amount of grey matter utilized by their followers.

9. Cut corporate taxes to flat 10% of revenue? That would raise their taxes!
I do so find it sad how many people don't know the difference between revenue and profit.
