Why is MSNBC so crappy on the weekend?
The 11am lead-ins were the pastor molester, Lindsey Lohand, and other show buisness stories. In contrast, I switched to CNN expecting the same crap. Surprise! They are having a serious discussion about the network leadership changes and the future of television programming - very intelligent stuff - they pulled no punches in discussing Leno-Conan and the bias of Fox News. Now at 11:30 they are discussing the Afghan war and how Sweetie O'Donnell is ducking the national media. I think I'll be watching CNN more - they are trying.

2. Where they buried Lester Holt.
A waste of a serious newscaster. He is much better that those twits during the weekday.

5. Revolting
I watch a lot of MSNBC during the week, especially from 4:00 p.m. on of course to Ms. Maddow :) Weekends not a second of time do I waste on all that prison bullshit.

I'd rather watch some soapy tear jerker on Lifetime anything but, MSNBC.

3. Don't get too attached to CNN just yet
Despite a promise to bring Eliot Spitzer onboard, it's prudent to keep in mind that Ken Jautz is the 'genius' who first brought Headwreck Beck to a national TV audience.

6. You're right. Not only that but CNN has for some time now
been trying to boost sagging ratings by trying out for the 'Faux Lite' spot on cable. Jautz is only likely to increase this tendency.

8. And Lou Dobbs.
But CNN just had Dick Cavett on live who skewered Nixon and Sarah Palin. Hey CNN - GIVE DICK CAVETT HIS OWN SHOW.
(ah, wouldn't that be tremendous?)

4. It's probably run by interns and trainees on the weekends.

The regulars all have the weekends and holidays off.

7. If that were so, then it would be better programming.

The interns and trainees are not in control of one of GE's propaganda outlets.

Now ... back to Lockup USA.

And you can catch any back episode anytime online ... http://www.slashcontrol.com/free-tv-shows/lockup

12. friday nights suck too because...
by the time I get home from work I've missed Rachel and Keith because they don't rerun them like they do on weekdays. After 7:00 pm the stupid lockup shows start (on the west coast anyway). That drives me crazy. Why do they do that on a Friday night?
