Is it just me? I feel sometimes like I live in an alternative universe.

I watched the majority of the rally yesterday. If it wasn't as big as the Glenn-Palin hate fest...it was darn close. And besides, the Dems have 2 rallies to choose from. Some who may have gone yesterday are going to the Stewart/Colbert rally instead.

I read on DU that even Charlie Cook says the Dems are closing the "enthusiasm gap".

I see my President and Vice President in full campaign mode with large, enthusiastic audiences.

Yet....when I look at the front page of my paper, it says that Dems have already lost. When I listen to the local news, I hear that Obama is such an unpopular President that even the popular Dems in my state will lose. I sign onto the internets, and am greeted with headlines that the Dems are conceding major loses in November and that the Repugs are predicting a major tsunami in November.

Which is it? I see one thing....but what I am hearing is completely different.

My head hurts!! Maybe I should just turn of the tv and cancel the paper until November.
