War always creates a resistance movement

<snip>
Militants have attacked a depot in Pakistan, destroying 27 tankers which were carrying fuel for Nato troops in Afghanistan.

The Taliban in Pakistan said it was behind the assault on the depot near Islamabad in which three people died.

Pakistan has stopped Nato convoys crossing the Khyber Pass in response to a Nato air strike last week in which three Pakistani soldiers were killed.

Nato said on Monday it regretted the deaths.

Unintended my ass. War kills innocents.

1. "Collatoral Damage"
That term always used to work. The ugly truth is we've been engaged in a dirty war inside Pakistan for quite some time. It's the natural place as it's the major money and supply center for the Taliban and safe haven for whatever is left of Al Queda. It's also outside the control of the Islamabad government. Recently Frontline did an excellent look at what was going on and they showed a big Saudi influence...going back to the days they funded the war against the Soviets and their influence in the region remains strong...stronger than any alligiance to the government in Islamabad. It's also the elephant in the room no one wants to talk about; especially the US.
