terror alerts so who does NPR talk to? michael chertoff

i suspect the Obama administration has someone who can speak to such things

take time to talk to NPR. We can thank our lucky stars that Chertoff seems to have time on his hands.

I get where you are coming from, though. I am getting pretty tired of every network turning to the shadow government for comment. Does it ever occur to anyone that former officials from the Bush I, Clinton* or Bush II could possibly have an ax to grind when commenting on the Obama administration?


*(not a slam at the Clintons, but if I suspect that there are people who worked for Bill who think that if their best path back into power is to get Hillary into office in 2012.)

slew of RW talking heads and legislators and a few centrist warhawk Dems to speak to issue of terrorism. Who did they NOT go to? Kerry - the one lawmaker who knew more about global terror networks and their financing than anyone else in DC due to the years he spent uncovering and investigating IranContra and BCCI. They also gave little airtime to Gary Hart whose Hart-Rudman report on global terror had been turned in late Jan2001....and ignored by Bush WH, GOP congress, and newsmedia.

Fascist pals of Bushes controlling most newsmedia certainly didn't want BCCI to rear its head again and certainly didn't want any progressive Democrats seen as 'terror experts' after 9-11.
