Public Washington PA School dismissing early because of Westboro Baptist Protests at School

Students in the Trinity School District will have an early dismissal on Monday because of the protest.

The independent fundamentalist Westboro Baptist Church based in Topeka, Kan., has preached a gospel of hatred against homosexuals.

Now, church members are making their way from Kansas to Washington, D.C., where the Supreme Court will hear that case on appeal next week.

Along the way, they plan protests and one stop will be at Trinity School District.

"I believe they picked Trinity because it's easy access on and off the interstate and I also believe that the name connotates a Catholic institution," Dr. Paul Kasunich, superintendent of the district, said.

Dingbats! For one it's a public school! Would you out there who are parents want you school to dismiss early so kids miss these whacko's protest? I don't have kids but I wonder if it would be a good lesson for them to see these whack jobs in action and their hate.

DC police should have a safety check and vehicle inspection just off the exit ramp. This may delay them a bit.

That would work,as that here in kansas we have NO Saftey Inspection,No Vehicle repair standards and tho we are supposed to follow Federal Emission laws No one does!

The junk that people drive here would be Instantly impounded in places like New York,Texas,Arizona,New Hampshire.
