Are The Republicans Laughing At The Democrats?
Edited on Sun May-20-07 08:33 AM by EV_Ares
So far, it seems that all we are getting from the Dem leadership is complaining and Reid continuously says the White House has found out they have to deal with the congress. So! what has the congress done so far?

Yeah, Bush seems to know they are over there but he just brushes them off and goes on about his business.

I hope sooner or later Reid and Pelosi will follow up their words with action instead of just words.

They continually call in the oil execs and then it is over and prices go up again. The last time the oil exec just laughed and said you will probably be calling us in here again next year too.

We voted to end this war and that is a continuous circle, Bush appears to be winning that battle too.

The list can go on and on but when are the democrats going to start fighting for the worker, the so called average American and I mean some results.

Just some questions I know I am not alone in asking.

1. The Republicans made a huge stinking mess of things, and trashing the Democratic lawmakers does let
them off the hook.

If the REPUBLICANS gave a shit about the American people, we wouldn't be here today. MKJ

3. IMHO, what we are seeing is the democrats doing what they do best, sit back, watch, listen
then behind the scenes they are researching and digging up evidence to hang the republicans with. Remember liberals do not rush into things, they try to look at all angles, pro or cons of whats going on seeking the best course of action. Whats clear to us as republican law breaking isn't so clear when presented in a political law court. If democrats rush in and try to charge without most of the acceptable facts in place we might end up looking foolish, remember Ken Star and the blue dress? Do you really want the democrats making the same mistakes as the pukes did with the Clinton impeachment? Also remember we only hold the senate by 1 vote, though the independents tend to vote with democrats we really can't count on them to stand behind us 100%. Also we have the Dino's and how loyal to the democratic platform have they been in their votes? Look at who has been speaking out, Reid, Levin and Maddam chair person, yet whats the rest doing?
