I am stunned that the Congress/media are stunned about Gonzo's visit to Ashcroft's hospital room.

After James Comey's testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee, the media and Congress alike were reportedly "stunned" by the Godfather-like tactics used by Gonzo/Card, acting on orders from the Administration, to get Ashcroft to sign off on the illegal wiretapping of US citizens. Chuck Shumer likened Comey's testimony to a "dam breaking". WTF? I remembered thinking, "Of course they did. Why the surprise? This has been common knowledge for three years".
