2. Agreed. Factory farms are horrific.
I don't have a problem with animals being raised for food. But they should have a good life, and a quick, painless, fearless end.

3. Thanks!!! I shared on FB too.
I like meat, but would really like to buy humanely raised meat. But there is nowhere nearby to shop for it, and the nearest co-ops require a very large monthly purchase for one person. I tried to find someone to split with but couldn't. I think if it were easy to buy humanely raised meat, many more people would do so, even if it costs more. I'd rather eat less meat for the money and feel better about it.

It is capitalism which has created the factory farm and the purpose of that was only to maximize profits.

Capitalism sucks for people, for animals, for everything.
