Manhattan(Illinois) library trustee campaigns against U.S. funding of Iraq war

To look at 51-year-old Bob Braam, you wouldn't think he'd have the appearance of someone looking for trouble.

In fact, he said, he would rather avoid confrontation than cause it.

That "below the radar" approach may be a hard sell for Braam given the fact he displays a large "IMPEACH" banner on his car's rear window.

By day, he is a project cost estimator for Joliet Cabinet. And since the general election on April 17, he's been a Manhattan Public Library Board member.

But in his spare time, Braam protests the American occupation of Iraq.
