1. Oh no, Jazzgirl...
 I'm sorry to hear that. I hope your brother will be OK - I'll be thinking about him and the men and women he'll be serving with over there. :grouphug:  Peace.

9. I know what you mean - I despise these scumbags.
:grr: I wish we could send THEM to war instead of people like your brother - maybe then they'd get a taste of what it's like, and learn to not be so frivolous with other people's lives. x( Peace be with you, your brother, and your mom...here are lots of virtual hugs for all of you!

I know it's not much coming across the internet(s), but I am keeping your brother and his fellow servicemen and -women in my thoughts and prayers, as well as the families of those who serve. :patriot: Peace.

6. Thanks you Cerridwen.
My brother and I are the only ones left so this is really hard for me. I think I'm going to have to go get drunk....

4. You and me both
If he goes tell him from this old Sgt. Keep his head on 360 and his ammo dry. And For Me To You He will be in my prayers to bring him home safe and sound to you

7. Thank you monkeyman.
My brother is an officer but he spent a year in Afghanistan. The stories and pictures terrified me there and I can't imagine what it will be like in Iraq. I am so terrified of what might happen. Bad news is his wife is also in the reserves and might have to go too. That really would piss me off more than I am now but the pain of him being there is almost unbearable.

11. I suspect that (Hopefully) your Brother won't be in harms way .....
...for long.
The American people are truly getting fed up with this whole mess.
In any event...He'll be fine...

14. Can't blame you for venting.
Here's a hope and a prayer he will be all right. It may not be much good, but it's here.

15. My 18 year old nephew is at Ft. Hood and probably on the way to Iraq this summer.
I tried to warn him, but he insisted on enlisting. Too much time spent playing the shoot-em-up war video games. This will be real life. I am more worried about what will happen to him psychologically more than getting wounded. Let's hope they all come home soon and let's remember and continue to help and support them when they get back.
