I Have To Vent!

I just got word my brother is going to Iraq next month. I hate this fucking administration!!!!

I am so frustrated I don't know what to do. Thanks for the hugs. My mom needs them as much as I do but probably more....

I know it's not much coming across the internet(s), but I am keeping your brother and his fellow servicemen and -women in my thoughts and prayers, as well as the families of those who serve. :patriot: Peace.

My brother is an officer but he spent a year in Afghanistan. The stories and pictures terrified me there and I can't imagine what it will be like in Iraq. I am so terrified of what might happen. Bad news is his wife is also in the reserves and might have to go too. That really would piss me off more than I am now but the pain of him being there is almost unbearable.

Here's a hope and a prayer he will be all right. It may not be much good, but it's here.

I tried to warn him, but he insisted on enlisting. Too much time spent playing the shoot-em-up war video games. This will be real life. I am more worried about what will happen to him psychologically more than getting wounded. Let's hope they all come home soon and let's remember and continue to help and support them when they get back.
