When Will The Oil Companies Use This For An Excuse?.......
because of the high cost of gas - we have to charge more to deliver it to the gas stations because it costs us more money to fill up our 'gas tanker trucks'.

3. Spin the arrow
Edited on Mon May-21-07 10:46 AM by Chef
1. Unrest in the Middle East
2. Changeover of blends
3. Refineries shut down for repairs
4. Higher than usual demand (winter/summer)
5. Pipeline break/cleaning
6. Opec setting production quotas
7. Refinery fire/lighting strike
8. Demand for additional campaign money in run up to elections

Spin the arrow and take your pick. Do the other countries have the kind of fuel price inflation we do. I saw a CNN blurb the other day where they said the price you pay is related to your distance from a refinery. They used Seattle and San Francisco as examples of high prices even though they have major refineries nearby?

5. Here is a better question,
When will the Democrats DO SOMETHING about it, or anything else for that matter !

The war moves merrily on, gas is now at a comfortable $3.50 here in NM, Rove is still making shadow puppet movies to the delight of corporate America, Health Care is not even mentioned anymore, GITMO is still accepting reservations, all the non-binding no-teeth legislation the Democrats passed didn't end the war, Gonzo is still giggling, the border security is still a joke not to mention the BS pledges regarding port security, and the Democrats are taking turns talking tough on camera then enabling Bush in session. --- and nothing is any different ----- huh what a fucking shock.

I'm looking forward to having something I can say has been changed for the better instead of watching the Democrats verbally jack each other off and continue to enable the Bush administration for the next year and a half. I'm sick of having the people who are elected, simply highlight the problems, I'm waiting for them to FUCKING DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT !

7. Tell me my posts are incorrect,
instead of the snooty "humor".

Democrat or Republican, same old bag of shit with a different color bow. I'm wrong about politics all the time, maybe I am now. Maybe since the Democrats were elected the war has started to stop....no still going strong, maybe Rove is under at least SOME pressure.... no still laughing, maybe health care is under some kind of review....nope, how about gas prices?.....nope HIGHER than ever.....etc etc etc.....

For all the fanfare, rallies, donations, calls for change, and my personal favorite "take our country back" that is spewed from the mouths of politicians... it's all a line of crap. I want a NON-politician to believe in, somebody who has not spent thier entire political career honing skills required to remain in elected office. Obama is close to that, who else? Richardson HA !!! I'm from New Mexico.

But hey, maybe what will really bolster my confidence in an elected field of rubber spined clones is some sharp witty humor. Thanks for the try.

10. Speaking of a certain sameness...
To: Polyxene
I like the way you think. However the most disgusting aspect of her (Cindy Sheehan).... is the whoring out of the loss of her son, for a F&%*(#&%ING quick fifteen minutes of fame with people that have forsaken any rational thought. The pictures and stories of "protests" like this, the constant "liar" comments about my president, and the general lack of respect given to the United States by the Democratic/Liberal wing is a perfect example of the direction the Left has taken.

A child always hates it's parents until it understands what truly is best... and matures into a functional member of society. Then they apologize to his/her parents for the crap they dealt out.... and go on to raise a new generation of AMERICANS based on the morals and principals instilled in them by their parents.

It's easy to see what type of upbringing and moral background was instilled in the democratic party of today. Slackers, careers in welfare, Jane Fonda's stab in the back, treasonist BITCH! Once the DU membership turns 40 and moves out of their parents house, the real world will hand them a jar of Vaseline, before their education.
