Dickhead Cheney's Shooting Victim Speaks!
As with all things related to Dick Cheney, the facts seem to get uglier with time.

The shotgun sprayed upward of 200 birdshot pellets at Whittington, causing scores of wounds. His facial lacerations were the most dramatically bloody, but the injuries to his neck and chest were the most serious. Four days after being hit, the birdshot near his heart prompted it to beat erratically, forcing him back into the intensive care unit. Doctors said Whittington suffered a mild heart attack; he thinks it was something less, a heart "event."

Still, the injuries were more dire than previously disclosed. Whittington suffered a collapsed lung. He underwent invasive exploratory surgery, as doctors probed his vital organs for signs of damage. The load from Cheney's gun came close to, but didn't damage, the carotid artery in his neck. A rupture could have been fatal, particularly since it took the better part of an hour to transport him from the vast Armstrong ranch to the Kingsville hospital.

1. Nicole Wallace was on Morning Jerk just now laughing hysterically
during the whole report on Mr. Whittington speaking out. The whole crew was laughing (Jerk and Mika aren't there yet).

Wonder what she thought was so funny. Perhaps the fact that Harry won't say if Dead Eye has ever apologized or not.

2. Well he decided to keep quiet and allow the war criminal
to control the discussion. Show me your friends and I'll tell you who you are.

3. The thing I found far more interesting than his actual wounding which was likely
an accident, albeit stupid, was the alcohol and delays involved in Cheney being questioned. At the time I thought it ironic that a man who was clearly a war criminal might lose his freedom over a drunken hunting accident. As it was, the same political machine that kept him safe throughout his tenure as President, er, Vice President, worked just as well. He was interviewed well after any useful information could have been retrieved about his blood alcohol level.

4. He's lucky drunk Dick didn't field dress him after he bagged him.

Dick would have killed every VC in the Far East, but he had better things to do than to go and do his duty, when his country called him.

Edit Dick braggs about his "Service To His Country" but the truth is, he was always more into serving himself.

5. Whatever Happened to the Rumor that Cheney Was Covering Up for a Woman
This female was supposedly drunk and shot the lawyer, and the delay in reporting was to ship her out of the country...not that I care one way or the other. He's still a war criminal. Also, chivalry seems totally out-of-character for Darth Cheney...still, it was a strange interlude.

7. When you hang around criminals you're bound to be hurt in
one way or the other. The moment dead eye dick kicks the bucket humanity will be better for it. We will not have to hear the lies from his mouth any longer.
