if that man had developed a spine even a year ago he wouldnt be in the tight race he is in today..

and he admires Scalia???????? what a waste of a democratic senator. Any real fighting progressives in the wings for next time?

1. I hate to break it to you, Sparky, but even females of phylum Chordata have spines.
Fuck Sharon Angle, and everything she stands for. She took a cheap shot knowing that Reid would be unable to respond in kind.

5. Harry MUST be stripped of his leadership position regardless of the outcome of his reelection bid
It's as simple as that.

7. Reid is a wimp, I'm sorry to say
He needs to be replaced as Senate leader, one way or another.

8. Do I have to get a transcription of where he talked about Scalia and
post it all over the blogosphere , or can people listen to the whole part by themselves? Hint: he was not suggesting he agreed with Scalia's decisions, in fact he specifically said he did not.

10. I know it's gospel around here that he has no spine
But the whole courage meme strikes me as ridiculous. Just a way to vent that a bill could not be put together the way we wanted it to, and to take it out on Harry or Nancy or Obama.

16. So let me get this straight
The President of the US, the Speaker of the House, and the Senate Majority Leader (formerly three of the most powerful people on the planet) are all of the party we all support, and yet when they can't put together quality progressive legislation (on a variety of critical issues), they are not responsible? Poor Harry, and Nancy, and poor, poor Obama.

So, again, why did we all celebrate the past two election cycles? As Steve Earl says, is it celebrating "four more years of things not getting worse."?

17. Well there could be a variety of reasons for that which have nothing
to do with so-called "courage."

And they may well have gotten the most they could from this Congress.

It's just using them as scapegoats for the entirely of Congress and voters who sent Rs or Blue Dogs, which Harry has to deal with. they don't just go away by calling him names.
