Nearly two years after putting Obama in the White House, one-quarter of those who voted for the Democrat are defecting to the GOP or considering voting against the party in power this fall. Just half of them say they definitely will show up Nov. 2, according to an Associated Press-Knowledge Networks poll released two weeks before Obama's first midterm elections.

In the second example it was as if the stupid masses don't understand that political strategy exists during an election year, "even the WH is against the correct choises....don't you hate them for everything they do and stand for?" Anyone can tell, that the strategy at this point is to keeps Dem #'s...that's all. It's barely about specific platform issues. Get those in there that are and can be persuaded to vote Dem since it's very clear how 100% of the Reps have been voting.
It certainly feels like they are still pushing the enthsiasm gap meme with all they've got. In the first article there was this little gem buried along the way: "The important thing is to hold onto as many seats as you can. It doesn't have anything to do with how they voted -- this is pure politics, and both parties play it exactly the same way," Frost said.
All I can say is, "well, duh".
