Republicans Struggle To Say How They Would Pay For Tax Cuts
The video is lower down on the page linked.

On Sunday's morning public affairs shows, both Republican Senate candidates Carly Fiorina in California and Ken Buck in Colorado struggled to give specifics about how they would reduce the deficit while also supporting expensive extensions of the Bush tax cuts. Although journalists ask Republicans this question almost without fail in debates and interviews, candidates and lawmakers still consistently stumble over it.

1. That's because the Republicans have nothing....
except hollow phrases like:"I'm for "Limited" government". "Stop the spending." "Cut Taxes."
"Cut regulation." I'm gonna throw up.

2. Yep...
There is no plan at all coming from the republicans! Wasn't it Boehner that said the country "WASN'T" ready for "SOLUTIONS" yet? I mean how stupid can they get? This country needs a plan to fix things, and all the republicans have done is say NO to almost every single thing that has come up for a vote, even if in the past they agreed these things needed to be done!

The only problem is will the country overlook the fact they have no plan, and would take us back to the good old days of George W. Bush, or will they open their eyes and see through the BS coming from the GOP and the teabaggers?

If democrats get out and vote, no matter what, we keep control of congress. Yes we lose a few seats in both houses but should be able to keep control. If democrats sit home on their pity pots feeling sorry and just plain giving up, then the country will be in big trouble! It really is that simple!

5. Not to mention the ever-popular "waste and fraud"
Whitman has been throwing that one around a lot, as if there really are billions of dollars of easily-eliminated waste in the CA budget, it's just that no one has ever noticed before.

Of course, "W & F" is Republican code-speak for things like social services, infrastructure, education, and environmental protection, so I suppose we shouldn't take the phrase at face value...

3. Republicans use Taxcuts to starve the Government of money
or revenue. This gives them the opportunity to make larger
cuts from all the programs they hate.

Tax cuts have been part of their starve the beast strategy.
The beast being Government programs and giving tax cuts
without paying for them is their way starving the beast
of revenue to run the program. Their hope is eventually
by cut, cut cuts out of the Programs, they have the excuse
to end the program.

Now they do not intend to pay for the tax cuts and you know
why.
