Gotta love frat-house shit. You couldn't even MAKE a movie about this stuff - and "Animal House" didn't even come close.

5. When Animal House came out it nailed the culture in the 70's
Even thought the movie was situated in the 60's

6. I went to college in the mid 80's and we had our OWN Animal House.
I never set foot in the place (or on the land for that matter), but if a keg flew out of a second story window it would not have shocked me.

7. The movie came out while I was in college
And as I watched it, I could relate each character to someone I new in school. I swore that the writers must have gone to school with me. I knew D-Day or his alter-ego, and one of the guys in the fraternity fell of the side of the girls dorm, unhurt, looking in the window, sound like anyone in Animal House?

Curiously, I just just watched "The Blues Brothers" (again) last night. Damn is there some good music in that movie.
