Christine O'Donnell Advertises ENDORSEMENT From BIGOT Blogger Pamela Geller
<>

Below, a screenshot of Delaware's Republican nominee for U.S. Senate Christine O'Donnell's "endorsements" page. We've got Mitt Romney, Jim DeMint, the NRA, Sarah Palin, the Tea Parties -- oh, and look at that: Down near the bottom (right above longtime socialite and fervent supporter of the Afghanistan Mujahideen Joanne Herring) is "Atlas Shrugs" blogger Pamela Geller.

<>

Pamela Geller, the main instigator in this summer's anti-mosque frenzy, is a bigoted conspiracy theorist. She's a liar and probably slightly insane. She regularly compares Muslims to Nazis. Geller's called Barack Obama's birth certificate a forgery, and Obama a Muslim. She published a lengthy "investigation" on her site in 2008 claiming that Obama's father was actually Malcolm X. And Charles Johnson recently documented her many ties to far-right neo-fascist movements in Europe. Johnson has examples of Geller defending white supremacists and even genocidal war criminals.

She's not the sort of person whose endorsement you want to advertise.

1. I wonder if it is smart to list any of those
All national - she'd do better to mention statewide organizations. But then she's not smart.

3. When you see a republican expect the worms to wiggle out
of the woodwork and she is the slimiest worm to every come out of the swamp. The woodwork is too damn good for her. I would love for something to come out about her.

4. I'm surprised Mitt Romney's name is there as he seems the
most sane of the possible 2012 candidates. I can't wait to watch O'Donnell go down in flames on Election Night. I hope all of Palin's endorsements fail, then we can put to rest her supposed influence.

7. No she is a crazy harpie.
Importing a Neo-Nazi skinhead movement from the UK and giving their US arm the SIOA a major financial boost.

Those who support the COD piece would however lap up her support.

8. Interesting....Bob Dole is listed as "Former Senator", but Palin is listed as
"Governor"...shouldn't she be listed as "Former Governor"?

Or "Quitter"?

10. Geller has established links with the far right movements in Europe, too.
http://socialistworker.org/2010/10/07/threat-of-the-right-in-europe

WILDERS WAS one of the highlighted speakers at the September 11th rally against the proposed Islamic center in downtown Manhattan called by Tea Party bigots, where he called on his audience to "defend itself against the powers of darkness, the force of hatred and the blight of ignorance."

This should come as no surprise. The far right in the U.S. not only collaborates with its counterparts in Europe, but it is also learning the lessons of their electoral victories.

Pamela Geller, whose group Stop Islamization of America was largely responsible for polarizing the discussion around the proposed Islamic center in downtown Manhattan, is not only a fan of Wilders (and the feeling is mutual given his glowing blurb for the book she co-authored on the Obama presidency), but an admirer of open fascists and street gangs such as the English Defense League that routinely attack Muslims and immigrants.

The Tea Party has clearly taken a few pages from the European right. They have learned that in the context of a prolonged economic crisis, racism and the politics of scapegoating can enable them to reach a wider audience. Thus, anti-immigrant groups such as the Minutemen have started to appear at Tea Party rallies and events. Similarly, Geller who identifies as a Tea Party person spoke at the Tennessee Tea Party convention in May.

12. How long will it take for Mitt Romney's campaign to demand HIS name be removed from her contributors
list? Can Mitt really afford to remain idle and have the O'Donnell contributor's list association come back and haunt him?

13. I almost posted the other day that O'Donnell hasn't done anything
stupid with regards to race or ethnicity to this point (unlike nearly every other tea-bagger candidate).

OOPS!!!!
