President Obama: "We’ve got to fight for this."
excerpts from remarks by the President at an event for Senator Boxer in Los Angeles, California today:

(Susan Walsh- AP)

"You’ve got to go out there and talk to your friends and your neighbors and your coworkers, to your cousins and nephews and uncles and whoever is out there. You’ve got to talk to them. We’ve got to fight for this.

You fought in 2008 because you believed we were at a unique moment in our history, where the decisions we made now would have an impact for generations. But we just started. This is just the first quarter. We’ve got a lot more work to do . . ."

1. "We’ve got a lot more work to do . . ."
We've got ALL the work to do.

None of it's been started yet.

Some things have actually gotten worse.

Stop talking, Mr. President, and fight for some GOOD changes.

Fight hard. Let us actually see you trying.

3. Are you lifting the oxcart out of the ditch?
"Are you tearing up the pea patch? Are you hollering down the rain barrel? Are you scraping around the bottom of the pickle barrel? Are you sitting in the catbird seat?"

4. Honestly
This man has fought harder, literally in a legislative perspective, then any other modern president in at least a decade..

Just because you haven't gotten it laid in front of your doorstep doesn't mean it isn't there...

Not sure where you have been the past two years, but alot of people, including many here on this board, have already started much of the work already... How about getting on board? Let's actually see YOU trying...
