Just suppose Harry Reid had requested Sharon Angle...
to "women down" because it was unseemly for a female to be so aggressive? I mean if stereotypes of gender assignment are so important to her should she at very least not have found a male to challenge him? Of course by the standard she endorses, she herself must be either more man-like than a successful senator who IS of the male persuasion.

If , of course Harry had asked that, the media would have kicked his ass and rightly so. Because it would be bullshit.

So I won't ask her to "women down"...Though that is the cheap and easy route.

2. Act like a lady! Actually, Reid said something about...
...how Angle shouldn't be talking, the way she's ducking the media.

NGU.

3. It's the only phrase she manages with any threat of competence
That's why Angle abuses it. Somehow those two words don't get stuck and she doesn't stammer or forget them.

I'm sure her campaign is as shocked as anyone else. The Las Vegas media plays the clip every time Angle uses that phrase.

I agree, at this point Reid needs an effective classy counter.

4. I liked Kathleen Parker's "suggestion"
for Harry to respond back, "I'm glad you got that off your chest, as it is." But it likely wouldn't fly...
