Did you see all the cable networks talking about the new Newsweek poll?

Me neither.

Obama, 54% approval rating

Dems up 48-42 among registered voters, up 48-45 among likely voters.

Gee.... Wonder why they're not talking about this poll?

Doesn't fit the narrative.... That's why it was part of the Friday news dump. So the Scarboroughs of the world can "forget" about if before Monday.

A little friendly advice to them might be to consider the story potential for a Democratic upset.

Armies of embittered teabaggers exercising their second amendment rights against a state of the art homeland security infrastructure built by the Bush administration will make good copy. Opportunities for good color commentary will be practically endless.
