What If?
Edited on Mon Oct-25-10 11:06 AM by Stuart G
What if 9 or 10 House races go our way instead of the other way?
What if the Democrats retain control of the Senate? Probably.
Is this possible? Sure, Why Not?

So often I hear predictions about snow in our area.
Sometimes they are right and often they are wrong.
We prepare for 6 inches of snow, nothing happens.
The predictors were wrong..What else is new?

If this is true in weather,
then it is true in politics too.
Election day isn't here yet.
Let us live in today.

1. I think we'll all be nervous until November 3.
That's why so many here are out canvassing, door-knocking, and making phone calls. The waiting is nervous-making, so it's good to try to influence the outcome of these elections. Come November 3, we'll know the results.

3. You are correct, we can influence the outcome. We can
change the direction. We do so one day at a time, one moment at a time.
Each effort we make, helps.
But worrying about yesterdays effort hurts today.
Plan as best we can, then the results will come, knowing we did all that we can do.
Working as hard as we can today is all we have.

2. It would be nice
I hope people get out and vote but who knows. I don't have a lot of faith in this country any more. Apparently some think its just better to hand it all back to the bastards and throw away whatever small amount of progress has been made. I am not thrilled with how things are now but I dont want to see it tossed away either.
