Call Pelosi's Office Now and Call for.....



....her to LEAD or RESIGN....time to put the pressure on.....time is flying and US Soldiers are dying...

I just got off the phone with her DC and CA offices....the phone lines are open..

1. The compromise was just made, and it includes "waivers" for the benchmarks
My initial reading.. Completely useless. Bush won. :(

5. hey he won with the last bill too
it just wasn't reported that way. It had his oil law benchmarks and all kinds of ways for him to weasel out of the "time line" bs. It also allowed troops on US bases there forever. I can't figure out why he didn't sign it. Probably because he knew the dems would grovel like they are today.

...to an answering machine where I could record my comment. This was in the Wash. office. I'm calling San Franscisco now.

On edit-- staffer in SF was courteous, listened to my concerns, and promised to pass them along to the Speaker.

11. I just called the California office from here in MA. There is no
point in calling DC if they are not taking comments. The woman who answered was very nice and said this capitulation to **** was not caving in but a way to reach some kind of compromise that will hold him accountable. I wanted to tell her that years ago I declined to buy a rather large bridge that was offered to me.

Being nice does not cut it, How about a real, valid reason?

21. When I called the SF office, I told them this day reminded me
of when we begged Diane Feinstein to vote no on the IWR and I just told them how depressing that was because Feinstein has never really represented this district.

The staffer sounded sort of tense.

It is a depressing day. Sorry, best I could do today.
