Roger Waters chose the mid-terms to tour The Wall. I doubt even he expected the nightmare to be bursting into life from coast to coast.

1. It's hard to know...
I thought the madness was about to go away when I saw The Wall for the first time. But I live in an uber progressive area. Thirty-five years ago, in a tiny equity waiver theatre, West Los Angeles, I believe, we all fell in love with a transsexual transvestite from Transylvania. When Rocky Horror became a MASSIVE hit, I really thought society had finally grown up.

Guess not.

2. No, what's happened is that some of society grew up...
part of it did not. We all need to work together to get the other part of society to grow up.

11. I hear ya...
On oh, so many levels. Being homophobic seems to be a recurring theme among all who I would consider the "immature" members of society... and it has nothing to do with chronological age.

4. I've got Tix for Nov
I know a rigger on the tour, he said it's nothing short of astonishing. You know last time Rog went out was during the last Election where his flying pig had Obama written all over it. He's no fool.

He's also damn expensive.. $250 for any kind of decent seat. Thousands if you want down front. Funny thing is down front is not where you want to be for a Waters show, right in front of the mix position is the best seat in the house. Right in the middle of the surround sound.

9. Amused to Death...
Written 16 years ago and couldn't be any more prevalent today. I still listen to it every few weeks. Jeff Beck's guitar work is searing and as usual Rog's commentary on the state of the human condition couldn't be more on the money. "The Bravery Of Being Out Of Range" could have just as easily been written about drone attacks in Pakistan.
