Gotta love the motto on this fake police car
Transform Your Driveway With This Barricade
By Chuck Squatriglia October 29, 2010 | 12:53 pm |

Hey Transformers fans — here’s your chance to put a Decepticon in your driveway. Or at least a Saleen Mustang done up to look like one.

Fans of the Transformers movie will know that Barricade was a hunter-scout for the Decepticons. Tuner extraordinaire Steve Saleen customized three 2005 Saleen S281 Mustangs for the role, and one of them has turned up on eBay. According to the guys selling it, this is Barricade No. 2. It was used primarily as a camera car and as such “was heavily screen-used in the movie.”

Since it’s a Saleen, the engine’s been tweaked, the body’s been tweaked, the interior’s been tweaked, and it’s liberally slathered with carbon fiber. The interior is cherry and the car’s got loads of LED police lights and a big honkin’ push bar.

As far as we can tell it doesn’t actually transform into a 18-foot-tall robot, which sucks, because that would make our morning commute a whole lot more fun.

2. Just don't drive it on the street. Way back in the day a buddy of mine had a 'Blues Brothers' car

and put (obviously) fake insignia on the side. One of the things it said was 'special police'. The real police were not amused and made him deface it on the side of the road.(he barely escaped being arrested) No, he was not a cop impersonator, he was a 17 year old with a sense of humor.

I can imagine that car getting you in a LOT of trouble.

3. Really?
You can't see the reason why that might not be such a hot idea and there might be more to the complaint than the fact they just don't "get" his wicked humor?

4. Did you miss the part about being 17? This was also over 20 years ago.

Wait, let me guess... you're perfect in every way and have never done anything foolish or poorly thought out in your life, right?
