The Cult of Glenn Beck's rally:

The Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear:

So who looks more 'fired up' to vote on Tuesday?

The one pic had parenthesis in it so I rehosted it on tinypic.

Who knew?

I think I'll take a pass on this God of Hate. I like the old-fashioned God of Love.

5. Glenn Beck's rally was really small
and was attended only by tiny triangle, square and circle? ;-)

8. Did Beck tell them to bring chairs?
Seriously, who plans to go to a RALLY and lounge the whole time? A few people did it at the RTRS, but it was nowhere close to an entire crowd of people sitting down.

The only thing I'm surprised at is I don't see any hover-rounds in the pic

9. There are several differences, I probably did the pics a disservice by only listing one.
1) The Rally was standing room only and there were auxiliary areas packed full. The permit was expecting about 60k.
2) The Rally crowd, by ALL the pics I've seen, was a great deal more diverse on a number of levels (ethnicity, religion, age, political).
3) The Rally crowd seems to be thinking, how can I get past these barricades while the Cult of Glenn Beck crowd seems to be thinking "OMG, I traveled 300 miles for this?"

10. And they call US lazy?
LOL! They all brought their lawn chairs. They can't even stand for what they believe in.

11. Remember that one rally was in summer and the other in winter.

Arguably, that makes the respective turnouts even more impressive, but it does mean that a lot fewer people will have been happy to sit down.

with their hands on their hips let alone sit. We stood tight like sardines for 3 hours and I was almost at the very back of the venue. Amazing to say the least! Great photos!
