7. My mom went to the 1962 games. I remember the balls she brought home,

barely. She and her sister were in their mid 20s and flirted with all the Latino players. lt was still possible in those days.

I'm not one of those hard core sports fans that are nuts. Really if the Giants play better, they deserve the win. And vice versa. I would hope the Rangers could pull another win tomorrow, but we'll see.

I was surprised I didn't hear them last night. I did see the planes doing the fly over when I left my corner gas station. Also today I saw a blimp getting ready to land at Arlington airport. Pretty cool.

27. my mom and I sat on the patio waiting for the fireworks...never came.

and every other Rangers home game I've been near,they've had some pretty cool shows...especially when they win.When your getting 59,000 folks out of the stadium...better to let georgie sober up a bit before pouring him on their copter.If I'm not mistaken,he lives in lovely University Park,home of the richest of the rich,SMU and his future library.

I have seen the bay Area come together as never before over the World Series. Forget what the tourist boards and the History Channel tell you: this is a divided, segregated, liberal and conservative area. The Giants being in the Series has united us in a way that I honestly don't know how else could have been done. Please do not politicize the Giants.

To bring a World Series win to San Francisco. The last win was 1954, I believe, in New York. Giants have been to the WS three times, since they moved out West. The Giants lost in 1989 to the Oakland A's during the "Earthquake Series", lost to the Anahiem Angels in 2002. As some people say, Third time is the Charm.
