Was Joey Scar all pissy today over Jon Stewart's successful rally?
I slept right thru the first hour of MJ but when I tuned in I thought I saw him yelling and waving his arms. He was also talking about how great HIS ratings were...I suspected he was really ticked that Jon and Stephen got all those nice folks to D.C.

Please tell me I'm right! I'll be SO happy (in an otherwise gloomy time for us Dems)!

1. He suffers from really low self-esteem, very common among cable journalists...
...and he's a prime example of how the condition manifests. Glenn Beck, too.

3. I didn't catch much
But he was saying that the rally was basic ly copying what his show is all about. Because he is all about calmly discussing both sides of all issues and is completely non partisan. :puke:

4. Oh, I just love it! He's trying to hitch his wagon to Jon and Stephen's star
because he knows he can't pull it off himself!

What a whiny ass he is!

5. They were pretty positive about it
then they started patting themselves on the back saying that they do the same thing -- promote civility and discussion -- which made me laugh because of their hypocrisy -- the way they foment about and fan the flames of all the stupid, petty stuff that happens in politics especially if it makes Dems look bad, the way they bully people, and how they act petty and petulant if something good happens for the Dems. In the next segment they started touting their latest Wall Street/NBC poll talking up Republicans and talking down Democrats. Of course they didn't mention any other polls which showed more favorable results for Democrats and the President, which I had been reading here all weekend and some of which showed totally opposite results.

Another thing, if they are so civil and welcoming how come they never mention Ed, Keith or Rachel on their shows? Lawrence O'Donnell will probably be mentioned less and less now too, now that he has his own show.
