And Visions Of Sugar Plums Dance Through Their Heads
unhappycamper note: Since the ‘Pentagon’ (Righthaven LLC? Gannett?) has ‘requested’ that I only post one paragraph from articles on Army Times, and Airforce Times, To keep in that same (new) tradition, I will also do the same for for articles on Navy Times, Marine Corps Times, stripes.com and military.com.
To read the article in the military's own words, you will need to click the link.

Read all about Fair Use here. It sure is beginning to smell like fascism.

unhappycamper summary of this article: The military is no longer talking about their high-priced toys and are now talking about lower-priced toys. For example, we are gonna be buying 50,000 Enhanced Night Vision goggles for $770 million dollars - to the tune of $15,400 a pop. And lotsa other 'good ' stuff too like IED ground penetrating radar, green ammo {huh?), new vests, new carbines, new parachutes, etc. etc.etc.

But the world is not a military war game.

Not about your posts, but about its sequencing, since the military is involved in some elements of society they should not be.

If those that like war want a game, I got a few in mind.

How many of you Christians can recognize the voice of choosing to love instead of hate, even when treated badly or if someone tries to become an enemy?

And thank you Eminem, you help me stay calm and focused when some try to get me to get angry or vengeful.

2. Nice...
Damn, look at all those cool toys. Now that's pretty sweet. If you're going to kill, kill with style.

But really, green ammo? There's something ironic about killing people while preserving the earth.

Now only if they can equip soldiers with exoskeletons like the Sarcos XOS 2, then shit's gonna get real!
