Using my 1000th post to say: We've gotta beat these MF'ers.

I've now been here long enough to see, with great clarity, the differences that divide us. I know a lot of us are upset or dispirited at the lack of progress on many fronts. The important thing to realize is that there has been progress... slight and halting though it may be, it is at least forward movement. Those that we face in tomorrow's election want to erase these small gains and replace them with movement backwards. They want to foist upon us their hatred, their bigotry. They want to soak the middle class and the poor for more money to line the billionaires pockets. They want to press their twisted mockery of morality upon us, with laws that bind us all to their benighted religion. We cannot let them have their way with us again.

Know your enemy. FIGHT your enemy.

Unfortunately, there are a LOT of ignorant wimps in this category. We just need to get out and vote.

and uber-rich fuckers pulling the srtings of the spelling deficient and religiously brain twisted fools that vote.

For some, it takes a few months. For others, like myself, it takes years. It took about 7 yrs for me to hit it. In the last 4 yrs, I've added another 1000 posts a year, almost.

I'm generally a taciturn fellow, but sometimes a loquacious mood strikes. :-)
