Alright already !!!! Jeez!!!

I have gotten ten recorded messages just TODAY on my answering machine all from the Ohio Republicans !!! This has been going on for over a week now.
Not one Democratic candidate or the local Democratic party has left a message or called.

I have always been a registered Democrat never voted repug. I just don't understand it.
This is the first election here in Dayton Ohio where I have gotten these damn phone calls from the repubs.
And you should see the mail its even worse!!!!

This is absolutely ridiculous.
The Re pubs are just carpet bombing.

We voted weeks ago by absentee.

That shit annoys people and I hope it backfires. I yelled at a local union that kept calling pushing Democratic candidates saying they need to listen when the caller says they are voting and voting for their candidates and move to other numbers.

But I think they finally got the update on their voter database that told them I had already voted, because I have not gotten a call since Saturday morning. I'm sure they made lots of friends calling people at 8:30 AM on the weekend with a robo-call dissing Charlie Crist.

Last week, I heard from Karl Rove AND Mike Huckabee - Karl told me about his Florida home and Mike informed me that he is now a Florida resident. God, that made me feel slimey.

I've never voted Repub, either, and the last actual human Repub that called was told I would not vote for a Repub if they held a gun to my head.

I do think that with this kind of ultra-saturation calling going on, the Repubs are going to piss off as many voters as they might gain. I would not want the Democratic organizations doing this level of robo-calls!

There is nothing like waking up to the sound of republican bullshit first thing in the morning.

Then they were slamming Crist, which I wish they had done sooner so Meek had a better chance. I'm always happy to see Republicans tearing each others' throats out.

My sleep schedule is totally screwed right now, so they did not wake me up.

One more day.
But bloody hell I do not talk,socialize,or share living space with republicans. It darn disconcerting to have them calling my home.

Then surface to find out how our future is looking and decide if I should retreat again. I'm so worried about this election and feeling guilty that I could not work on any campaigns this year. Maybe next time, if we survive that long.

I haven't been getting the phone calls, but I have to keep my TV on PBS to avoid the damn commercials. One right after another--from two states. If I lived in Georgia, I'd vote against Nathan Deal, Johnny Isakkson and Casey Cagle just for the fact that I am FUCKING SICK of their goddamn commercials. Never mind that they're corrupt assholes. The same goes for Joke Wilson in the neighboring district. Ditto for Nikki Haley. Not even if you held a gun to my head, honey. I only saw my first commercials for her opponent two days ago.

I don't get the phone calls, because I never registered with any party, and because I have an unlisted AND unpublished number. During election season, it's worth the few extra bucks I pay every month to have it unpublished.

the local stations make during elections. You have to wonder what they will put on after the election since about 80 per cent is now election hate ads.

i know i know. but it would sure send a message to the republicans... we don't like the incessant robo calls. there ought to be a way to prevent that crap. i don't get those kinds of calls. we dumped the landline years ago. thank god. and the mailers go straight into the fire.

Sorry you're getting those - I've never heard from the RNC, ever. In the last few weeks, I've gotten robos from Obama and Clinton. Saved 'em, cuz they made me feel important. :rofl:

only one or two were Republicans though the rest were Democratic. Including a recorded message from President Obama for Chris Coons and one from VP Biden about a rally today. :-) As nice as those two were, I'll be glad when they're done. And my mailbox isn't full of mailers either.

Hopefully the Democrats will keep both houses and we can move on to the holidays.

I live in Indiana. Have been for over a year.

But more times than I can count, I have gotten calls from the Ohio Democratic Party asking me to vote for Ted Strickland. Just got a robo call from Ted, in fact. Each time I tell them that I would if I could, but I can't.

It is starting to really tick me off. This is a waste of time -- especially on their end, and I have told them so.

Hung up on msg from GOP Gov yesterday and 5 minutes later, they called again --!

Our Gop House Rep has been calling regularly no matter how many times we hang up

on them --

And NO DEMOCRAT HAS CALLED ALL WEEK -- AND NO GET OUT THE VOTE DEM CALL TODAY ---

The signs don't cost that much -- and most of the calls are recordings now --

I'm not sure if Dems are also using recordings -- I think that would be a mistake.

NEVER got a call today.

What really happens in my town is that Repug thugs will pick up and knock down signs

for Dems. They have actually driven over people's lawns late at night to knock down

a Dem sign! And more than once if the sign is replaced.

Since the Town Council is majority Repug, nothing happens to them.

Happens every Election Day, except times when Dems are in control of Town Council ...

which happens every now and then. THEN, we have equal signs for both parties.

Nor do phone calls cost that much --

I really think many Dems didn't volunteer for candidates' phone banks, etal.

This seems like more than the off-year malaise, IMO.

And, Obama was speaking to that for quite sometime now, though I don't think he actually
