Jon Stewart Rally Draws 800,000 Less People Than Glenn Beck Gathering
According to one Baghdad Bob RW website.

The political rally of Hollywood comedians and Democrats, Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert, drew an estimated 215,000 people in Washington, D.C. this weekend. Several weeks ago, the political rally by Republican TV personality, Glenn Beck, pulled in over 1,000,000 people.

The Judiciary Report wonders if this is any indication of how the voting will go on Tuesday, November 2, 2010, in the U.S. national mid-term elections, to determine who will rule in Congress. Stay tuned...

Side Bar: why does the Democratic Party allow folks like Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert to represent them to the public. They are a liability, not an asset in politics.

1. And, of course, no place to post.
We could all show up with the nifty images one DU put up that showed the difference - in map size - in the sizes of the rallies - Stewart and Colbert's being far larger.

8. The 1 million estimate from Beck is BS that was spewed by the wackadoo from MN
who pulled the figure out of her ass and has never been supported.

The Stewart figure was established by the same outside firm which put the Beck Ralley at 87,000 (approx).

7. No. No. No. Since the RW estimate of Beck's crowd was 11.5 times what the CBS estimate was, to
be fair, we multiply the CBS Saturday estimate of 215,000 by 11.5 and get the 'true' number of 2,472,500.

10. Armey was complaining that two comics held a rally for sanity
and what was that. Well a hell of a lot better than the hate, violence and false religious beliefs that the republicans spewed at Beck's rally.
