for (teabagger/repub questionable activities, voting machines, other)?

Campaign shirts.
Cell phones.
ID problems (if they're required to show them)
No registration on file and what to do.
Provisional ballots.

4. Reports I've seen so far this year in early voting

Crowding and intimidating voters while they are checking in and while they are voting.
Getting behind the desks and hassling the poll workers.
Harassing voters in line.

Then there are the classics of campaigning too close to the polling place and wearing campaign apparel.

5. If you see anything fishy, contact your election authority.

The county clerks take an oath to uphold the law. I live in a very red county but our county clerk is clean. As a precinct committeeman, I have passed complaints along to her. She acted on them right away, and always got back to me. She takes care of republican dirty tricks, too. Some of those have been people with their nasty anti-abortion signs parking too close to polling places.

If your county clerk doesn't act, call the attorney general's office at the state level. Be sure you can document things.

6. You may need to remind people to MYOB

When I worked elections there was always some loudmouth talking about who he was so proud to vote for.

Oh, and yes, the idiot who put gum on the wheel you turn to make your selections on the voting screen.

But I found that even the Republican poll workers were friendly and just doing their job.

Thanks for volunteering! (Technically, you get paid, but it's a long, long day.)

7. When I was a poll worker back when Kennedy and the like were running

we just handed out papers and answered questions and told people they couldn't have political signs within about 75 feet. So long ago I can't remember exactly. BUT the republicans and us Democrats stood side by side, we talked and laughed and bought each other coffee. We were compassionate with each other. I bet there is nothing like that today. One time I was inside and watched people go to the booths. But there was nothing bad going on there and it got boring.
