I'm not going to vote today.

Eff that noise!!

I've not missed an election since I turned 18, and I'm damn sure not going to miss this one. The Murray/Rossi race here in Washington state is going to be a squeaker, and I'm doing my best to get Murray every vote possible. Everyone I know here has already voted, and all but one of them voted Murray. My brother is the one exception... we talked last friday, and all he did for a half hour was recite Rossi's ads and tell me how Obama has destroyed this country and how Democrats are fleeing from him like roaches when the light gets turned on. He is, and has always been, a douche bag of the highest order... but I had to try. My dad has the same reich wing philosophy, but thankfully he's not voting in Washington.

If you're reading this, and you haven't voted... get up, get out, go vote, and take a friend!!!

I love the vote by mail system here in Washington, especially because that means PAPER BALLOTS!!!

If you don't want to vote for yourself, then vote for your family, vote for your neighbor, vote for the hundreds of thousands who suffered and died for THEIR right to vote (African-Americans, women).

Because voting twice would be illegal.
