Conway ahead at this point...
Edited on Tue Nov-02-10 07:16 PM by proReality
US Senator
Race Detail Map
2 of 120 Counties Reporting
Percent Votes
Rand PAUL (REP) 46.48% 140,953
Jack CONWAY (DEM) 53.52% 162,314

So why is the state projected for Paul already?

9. If Rand Paul is only loosing by 7% in strong dem. counties, then he will have a huge marign in R. .

counties.

At least that's the logic the media uses.

I do find it odd, people sit in front of the TV, watching the results, then they bitch about exit poling, and media projections. If you don't care about media projections, why are you watching TV? Go to bed, and wait until the morning for offical results. Rand isn't going to take office at 9pm, just because of a media projection. The votes will be counted and the winner will be determined, so lets just relax and take it easy.

10. Absolutely!
They were calling it for Paul 5 min. after the polls closed. They may be right, but it's not absolute yet and there is no sense getting into a panic. It was driving me nuts watching fellow DUers go nuts.

11. I told you the called the race for Mikowski in MD and had
0% reporting. So how. First they had Ehrlich ahead at 62% and now O'Malley is ahead at 54%. If I were a Democrat OR a republican I would not concede any race til everything is counted.
