1. Isn't that probably good news?
I assume Cook County and especially the City of Chicago come in later than the rural areas -- that's the typical pattern anyway.

I also am assuming that Chicago/Cook County is solidly Democratic.

4. I saw the first giannoulias sign of the campaign yesterday:
NW chicago suburbs

12 mi per day to work and back, and whatever driving I've done for the last 6 weeks around here. hundreds of pug signs, almost no dems (about 10 for dan seals)

been very depressing

mostly pug up here, but, still.

lots of voters, though. I'd have had to wait if I'd wanted an E ballot

IMO, we can thank that scumbag ex-governor for poisoning Illinois politics this year.
