Christine O'Donnell gets huge bucket of water splashed on her and goes down in flames
Chris Coons Defeats Christine O'Donnell In Delaware Senate Race

WILMINGTON, Del. — Democrat Chris Coons easily won Delaware's Senate race Tuesday over Republican Christine O'Donnell, a tea party favorite who struggled to shake old cable-show footage in which she spoke out against masturbation and talked about dabbling in witchcraft as a teenager.

Based on an AP analysis of preliminary exit polling data, Coons defeated O'Donnell, an evangelical outsider whose stunning upset in the September GOP primary likely cost Republicans the race. Her opponent in the primary, congressman and former governor Mike Castle, had been considered a shoo-in to win Vice President Joe Biden's old seat.

With 14 percent of the precincts reporting, Coons had 64 percent of the vote compared.

3. Too bad the media didn't spend more time with the other races.
She played the role of a sacrificial clown. She got lots of media attention while many other races didn't. Really, how was her agenda any different then the rest of the teabagger/Republican/conservative goons running in this cycle? Not much different, but she was easy to make fun of and keep the national press busy not covering the other races. Sad, really.

7. EXACTLY
kept the attention on her while other nutz skated on by with little attention. I don't take any satisfaction from this because it was obvious she would lose. I'll wait to celebrate till I see those even crazier lose. Rand Paul every bit as nutz has already won. :-(

9. I beg to differ. She provided a cogent reminder of how nuts those people actually are.
Every time we heard her views on the constitution, or creationism, or outlawing masturbation, our numbers jumped.

10. Yup.
It's off to the speaker circuit for her, where she can continue grifting her sheeples. She's set for life...
