TOLEDO, Ohio � A congressional candidate criticized for dressing in a Nazi uniform during World War II re-enactments has lost his election bid in Ohio.

Republican Rich Iott (EYE'-aht) lost to Democratic Rep. Marcy Kaptur, who has been in Congress since 1983.

Iott was a little-known political newcomer when photos surfaced in October of him wearing a Nazi uniform. He was a considered a longshot even before the photos went viral.

He says he took part in the historical re-enactments to educate the public and didn't agree with the Nazis' views or their actions against Jews.

1. gops gerrymandered all the Democrats into just a few districts, so

that they can take the rest of Ohio. Kaptur has long held a safe seat. The gop does not expect to win that seat unless there is a calamity.

Tancredo who was within 4 points in the "polls" is getting his ass handed to him 58%-30% so far. So much for polls. Thank god because if Glen Beck moved here I'd have to leave...
