Cheer up...

Why the fuck is everyone so down? So we lost some seats, what the fuck did you expect? By all accounts but ours, this was going to be the TOTAL ANNIHILATION of the Democrats and Progressives and their ideas.

For months and months the American people have been completely blitzed by nothing but Republican propaganda. On a daily basis the MSM predicted doom and gloom for the Democrats. They were calling the election a landslide months before it happened. Dire predictions abound. The Apocalypse was coming if you didn't vote Republican. This morning I saw a headline saying the country was "Bracing Itself For The Red Tidal Wave" (never mind the Red Dawn connotations).

Well, the tidal wave turned out to be more like a leaky pipe, and the apocalypse is going to turn out to be two years of... nothing getting done. Except of course investigations into the Presidential Penis.

Considering the river of shit we were swimming up I'm thinking we did pretty fucking good staying clean. I'm going to sleep well.
