It is a night to reflect, not to recriminate

Lots of us have thoughts about what's happened.

Lots of us are angry.

Lots of us are sad.

Lots of us want changes on our side.

Lots of us see the start of a nasty trend

Lots of us are fearful

But mostly, lots of us are emotional.

Tomorrow is not too late to talk. Next week is not to late to articulate what you're feeling. Collect yourself and gather your thoughts. There are lessons in all this. There always are. There's blame that can be applied and shared. There are heroes, too, thanks to be given.

All in good time.

The sun will rise tomorrow.

But you are right, Mr. Stinky. It's always better to avoid "heat of the moment" emotionally based outbursts and decisions.

My biggest fear, that this is the start of the Nazi-style fascist takeover. Ok, well, actually, the finish of it, since it's been going on for a while now.

IF this were Germany in 1932, what different could have been done to change the course of things?
