Everybody here is being pretty cool tonight.

Cooler than usual & way cooler than I expected. I'm feeling less freaked out than I expected as well, even though I'm really disappointed.

Maybe there's a bit of short-term relief after two years of tripped-up progress, a hell of a lot of headache, and the constant whining of people with no responsibility? Now they have some of the heavy lifting to do.

Or maybe we're all just glad we have a place like this to go in times like these?

2. I'm not feeling cool at all.

Iowa governor's race lost to former 4-time Republican governor. Voting is going against retaining our supreme court justices. I'm shaking and near tears. Sick feeling.
