How big of a difference would that have made? A lot of their wins were bought

3. The Media didn't help either..
I thought we did pretty well considering what we were up against. Of course tomorrow they'll all be screaming about a mandate and calling it a landslide, but it was more like a pebble rolling downhill.

6. Why do so many dislike Obama so much?
I blame the lion's share of that with the MSM. Not just fox either.

7. Based on previous elections, GOP would have taken 20-40 House seats
and a handful of Senate seats even if they had done nothing out of the ordinary. That is the average number of seats the party out of power takes in a midterm election when the president's approval is less than 50%.

1994 was the statistical norm. I am betting this year will be the same.

8. MA might have an R governor again
Baker was taken down by "Bay State Future", whoever that is. Patrick had only one ad buy, and it didn't even show west of Worcester.

10. It's a crisis.
Citizens United is the undoing of our elections, plain and simple. I can't imagine how this happened to us. But when it was announced, it was shocking even then. Now, we see that the wads of money will overwhelm the voice of individuals. Democracy as we knew it is finished. I find it very depressing.

14. Indeed. But even the Dems won't talk about campaign finance reform
and we won't discuss anything unless the MSM tells us that it's something worth discussing. That MUST be changed!
