2. No. This is idiocy. We lost because of the economy not because of who our VP is or isn't.

7. I don't think anyone will care. Clinton's about as neoliberal as Obama.
It might get some of the female vote back, but I think the problem is more fundamental: the Democratic Party has absolutely no platform other than TRYING to appear less bought-out by corporations than the Republican Party (not true and not working) and by running on a "we're not fascist like you but we're willing to accept your fascist ideas as acceptable discourse" tepidness.

Obama re-ups Patriot Act, surges in Afghanistan, we're still in Iraq despite all the pretty euphemisms, he's still using contractors, there's still gitmo and blacksites, there's no justice for LGBT people, he was hesitant on the oil spill, he continues with mountain removal, etc. etc.

The Democratic Party can't go on being the Republican Party of the 1980s. Stand for something and the people will come back. They wanted change. Unfortunately many Americans are uneducated so they thought maybe the new radical version of the Republican party would be "change."

Is it that time again?

15. It's the supermarket tabloid approach to politics.
Who's in? Who's out? Will he or won't he? Only his hairdresser knows for sure!

9. Give it up-she already said she wouldn't want it, and Obama would be stupid to offer it.
Get over it - she lost.

11. No.
We need some fresh blood at the helm for 2012 this time to get both the indies and the progressive/lib base back. And both her (and Obama) are now damaged goods to them.

13. No. The Clinton economic team and the Clinton approach
to management of the DNC are what lost this election.

No. No. No more Clintons that close to the White House. Hillary is fine on foreign affairs. She knows everybody. (Although I do not like the fact that she was such a hawk on Iraq) But please, from now on, the Clintons should have no say with regard to economic policy. Remember NAFTA, Clinton's close ties to India and other countries in Asia, Larry Summers, etc., etc.

No. No. No. No to the Clintons. They had their chances.

Today, this is not a choice. Neither is VP Clinton. We have our team. Let's rally behind them.

IF there's a challenge to Obama, I want it to be one the pulls him to the left, not the center.

You guys really don't learn, do you? If this keeps up, the Democratic Party will be dead within my lifetime.
