No taxes equals No government..
No taxes - No Social Security.
No taxes - No Medicare.
No taxes - No schools.

No taxes - No streetlights.
No taxes - No park maintenance.
No taxes - No roads.

We should remember this when the Democrats agree with the Republicans to extend the Bush taxcuts or maybe, make them permanent. Cutting government cuts people.

Democrats are for the people, therefore, must support government. Republicans goal is to cut government and the only way to cut government is to cut the way government is supported, namely taxes. When they agree to take $4 trillion out of government with an extension of Bush taxcuts, remember who is being cut. Democrats tend to forget why they are Democrats.

1. Gover Norquist on the RW plan for America:
"My goal is to cut government in half in twenty-five years, to get it down to the size where we can drown it in the bathtub."

And to anyone who thinks they can't do it: they already ARE doing it.

2. exactly! we can't fix or maintain services without funds
and I wish that the voters would remember this on a state level as well. I live in California and we voted last night to keep the tax cuts for businesses and corporations, to not add increased vehicle license fees in order to improve infrastructure/schools/etc., and to not let the state borrow money from countie/cities for schools and other services. HOW are things going to get paid for?? I don't envy this President nor our new Governor-elect.
