Looking at pictures of Boehner today, he does not look all that happy.
I think he knows he can not deliver. He knows that all the Republicans can do is feed the wealthy. He can do nothing for the rest of the nation.

4. He can't deliver. He has no clue what to do to actually improve the economy
They can pass a lot of "symbolic" stuff in the House that will never make it to the Senate floor.

It is essentially going to be non-stop campaigning for the next two years.

If the economy improves it will be from the framework Dems have provided (of course Republicans will take credit for that)

7. A person beholden to corporations and the wealthy is NOT going to work for the American people.
Don't know how many times this has to be drilled into voter's skulls, but there it is.

The Three Stooges are plan-less, aimless and are going to be forced to pull off a two-year smoke-and-mirrors act. All the while, constituents will be laid off and the rich will get their tax cuts.

Not a goddamned thing is going to change. AT all.
