(11-03) 11:46 PDT San Francisco -- San Francisco police have arrested an election worker but have not recovered 75 ballots he allegedly stole from a polling station, police said today.

Karl Bradfield Nicholas, 50, of San Francisco, left his post at 4:15 p.m. on election day at the station on Knott Court with the ballots and a memory card that recorded the votes cast, said Lt. Lyn Tomioka, a SFPD police spokeswoman.

He was arrested at his home in the Ingleside at 1:12 a.m. Wednesday but police were unable to find the missing items.

Tomioka said Nicholas left the polling station without explanation. "He left and did not return. He didn't say where he was going."

Nicholas, formerly of Kentfield and San Rafael, is a computer repairman and registered Republican. He represents himself in lawsuits and has a website in which he rails against the court system.

If done by a RW fascist, it is still Republican voter fraud, if the man involved is indeed a voter.

an election, it's election fraud. His being a voter or not is irrelevant to what happened. He committed misconduct while working on the election.

But even as someone working against election fraud, occasionally the words "voter fraud" would slip form my lips.

It is a technical point, and when viewed casually from the outside, the casual observer is going to slip up and use that term.

The guy must be pretty dense. I don't know how they do it in California, but in Indiana, you check in and sign your name, then you receive your ballot, then you fill it out and turn it back in. They have records of who came in, so they would notice if 75 people were missing.

I wonder if he will have a rant against the court system that is about to put him in jail.

To show how easy it is to steal ballots and therefore how Democrats have been getting away with it all these years. He had no criminal intent, and was just being a good citizen.

She and her ilk have been very concerned with election fraud, and this appears to be a pretty good case for them except for one minor detail. But I have confidence that they can lie their way through that simply by repeating over and over again that it happened in San Francisco.

I'm guessing that the local election boards are going to do a better job of screening their volunteers now that this bimbo slipped through.

I just read this story from RSS feed. This is quite disturbing and real...yet will get 0 airtime on Fox News (or any other national media outside the Bay Area for the matter). I watched the NBC and PBS evening news, no mention of this story. Those outlets are too busy waiting for the next phony ACORN scandal I guess.

the next two years the way they've beaten us over the head about the 2 New Black Panther guys who stood outside a polling station in Pa. for 10 minutes? We've got to make this story go viral about Thugs are guilty of election fraud and we have real proof. Or are we going to play nice and talk about compromising on healthcare, taxes, financial reform, etc... I for one don't feel like turning the other cheek.
