Turn him loose in the DOJ. Or maybe your staff. Let him negotiate with Congress. I rather prefer his notions of compromise when it comes to big business and republicans. -Hoot

3. Unfortunately, I suspect these three are all a bit too far left for Obama's politics. nt

25. "a bit" too far? How diplomatic of you.
I suspect that Obama ranks them with the rest of the so-called "professional left."

26. I suspect you are correct,
but I didn't want to start a flame war, or be deleted here on DU as sometimes happens when the truth is spoken.

but he is likely to the left of Obama. I think that was the gist of the discussion. You don't have to be "Blazing Liberal" to be to the left of a right-of-center centrist.

2. I love Alan too, but he really doesn't have the personality to
negotiate with Congress. Alan is ore of a my or the hwy kind O guy. I would like to see him in the admin though.

12. Obama will never make Grayson a place at his political table
Look at the philosophy of the people who surround the president. None of them are like Grayson. It would be nice but it will never happen, imo.
