5. I've heard they've considered extending it for two more years, so I'm not
sure he'll be saying NO. And in two more years, he'll be met with the same resistance. This is one of the most frustrating issues for me. They VOTED to let it expire, now they've gotten used to that extra dough. :grr:

9. Two years is a trap
That means the same arguments come back during Obama's reelection.

11. Yep, I totally agree. DON'T DO IT, OBAMA! Since they have the fucking House
now, make them propose it again, and then the Senate can sit on it for 6 years.

15. I agree
they want a balanced budget, then tax the people who have all the money in the US. It's a pretty simple idea.

12. Obama is the President
He already said no - he cannot and must not compromise on this.

14. Oh, I so agree, but I'm just saying what I heard. I'm not sure where/who from,
(obviously someone on MSNBC :7) but it was someone with enough clout to make me :scared:. Could it have been Reid? Not sure.

8. Anything unacceptable is the same as anything else unacceptable.

So weather there is or isn't things to believe in while I still don't have beer and travel money and experiances, what is observable as a proper correction,

or while the world is not moving to more justice and compassion, outside of direct observation, but part of the same concept.

Things will get better or not exist.

Side note, people with much faith and not much reason are being used by Machiavellians. So sometimes challenging faith is to create reliance on the reason needed for faith to be for better works.

Side note, I read a quote once, that 'everything will disappear, and you will be alone with your pride and my voice.' If I had to chose between an unjust, uncompassionate existence, and being alone with a single voice, then the choice would be obvious, from H to h to n to - then finally even to 'space' That is fine with me, if I believed in only having only two options. So I will choose a third option and things will get better. And I think that saying is a miss interpretation.

Edit: Great point. People with much faith are like soldiers that spray and pray. They get things done, all faith does, but not in an accurate fashion, so many times people of great faith even without reason can do much good by parking them in the middle of some problems. I like the idea of faith and reason, so that you can think about best guess of what is best choice for an individual. Hopefully with making fewer mistakes of coarse.

19. I think we know what they intend to do
It wil be their excuse to destroy the social safety net, privatize the commons and education, do away with any research that isn't military, you know...drown government in the bathtub.
