After Watching Russ Feingold's Speech

I'm convinced.

there is our new DNC Chairman.

not only will he strike fear into the heart's of republicans, he's a man of principle who many people like even if they disagree with him. that right there can get people who were mad to at least listen. an open ear often times can be brought into the fold.

hell, bob barr, former republican and Libertarian presidential candidate in 2008 endorsed him.

if dean won't come back, FEINGOLD

1. Twenty-eight years in various elected positions

is good evidence that he understands elections from local to national levels.
His time in the senate has shown that he is appealing to both thoughtful and progressive people.

It's that last thing that would probably preclude him from being DNC chair.

2. I'd bring him into the administration.

Smart as a whip, knows how to get things done, dripping with integrity; President Obama could do (has done) lots worse in a choice for a new Treasury secretary or whatever.

I can't think of the perfect person for DNC chair, so I continue to support Howard Dean. Even if Governor Dean isn't perfect in the role, he's pretty good and the party could really use his enthusiasm these days.

I didn't give a penny to the DNC this past year. I want someone like Howard Dean that is willing to fight the Republicans with the same rules that they use. No Mercy!!!

If Russ Feingold can do that, I am all for it. The current DNC chair only appeared to be afraid to take it to the Republicans. I am tired of wishy, washy Democrats. That is why Harry Reid also needs replaced as majority leader.

It's a huge disappointment to lose him as my senator, so it would be good to see the Party use his talents.
