Investigating Dollar Stores (Including Dollar tree and others)
I got this email from a friend thought I would share

A news investigation on dollar stores (including Dollar Tree and others):

They discovered the Crest, Colgate and other brand name toothpastes weren't the same as from drug, and grocery stores, etc. The toothpastes were manufactured in many other countries and are not approved by the American Dental Association ( ADA ). There was even some from South Africa and the fluoride is ten times stronger than what we're allowed in the U.S. (prescription strength).

They're allowed stronger because they don't have fluoridated water (like we do). So if we (or our kids) use it often and occasionally swallow it, we could be poisoning ourselves. The dollar stores declined to comment and a full investigation has begun. So stick to paying full-price at your grocery store, drug store, and send this e-mail to anyone who MIGHT shop at dollar stores.

his is a true story it has been confirmed below:

Be careful also of food products, cake mixes, cereal, etc.

Pass on to your children and friends who have children.
this is dangerous for children if they swallow the toothpaste

11. I buy my Colgate bubble fruit flavored toothpaste there. Probably still will.
The dollar pregnancy test kits are great for gags to leave in your friends' bathrooms.

3. Yeah. Sure. Right.
If you pay retail price, the company will be sure and protect you by giving you a good product.

Tell that to pet owners.

It is all a crap shoot these days. The only difference is how much you are willing to pay for your ticket.

6. I often buy items at Dollar Tree, Big Lots, etc.

But never food or health & beauty items. I have always been somewhat skeptical of where they came from, how they were made or how old they might be.

Hates the poor/And want us to die!

Profit is evil.Profit is what makes people disposable
Profit is what lets a few greedy become useless appendages that consume way more than they deserve.
Cap profit,
Demand accountability
For the corporations have forced us to be dependant upon them .And they don't care if we live or die.

9. Something tells me that the Dollar stores cut in on Walmart's business
It seems to me remiss that the Dollar Stores are being targeted here while Walmart gets a pass...
Does anyone else smell something?

13. It seems I read an article a couple weeks ago that WM's sales were
down...and most likely their customers didn't upgrade to Saks, so now we have this.
For the record, I don't dispute the fact that the Dollar Stores might carry inferior and unsafe products, I just dispute the fact that Walmart isn't named as well.
